  1. 1

    Start the 7-day trial

Pick a plan on the pricing page. The trial runs 7 days, and the home page adds that all plans come with a 30-day refund policy.

  2. 2

    Connect your X account

Discover includes 1 X account and Grow includes 5. Connect the account you post from.

  3. 3

    Find a starting point

Search the viral tweet library by keyword or by handle, or open the inspirations Tweet Hunter picks for your account. On Grow, ask the AI writer for daily tweets, a rewrite, or thread ideas and hooks.

  4. 4

Write the thread and set the delay

Build the thread in the editor. Its feature list includes Thread Delay, which spaces out each post of a thread rather than sending them all at once.

  5. 5

    Queue it and add automation

Add the thread to the queue or pick a time. Turn on auto-plug, auto-retweet or an Auto-DM if the post carries a freebie.

What Tweet Hunter is and who uses it

Tweet Hunter calls itself an all-in-one, AI-powered X tool for growing and monetizing an audience on X. It combines a library of high-performing tweets for inspiration, an AI writer, scheduling for tweets and threads, and automations such as Auto-DMs, auto-plug and auto-retweet.

The home page's own claim is that it helps at every stage of growing an X account: more and better tweets and threads, wider reach, business return from each tweet, and engagement with other people. It also says new value is added to the product every week.

The pricing page is written for creators and X professionals, and the top plan adds a ghostwriting mode for people who write for clients.

Tweet Hunter pricing and plans, as of October 2026

Prices below are as of October 2026 and come from the pricing page. The page shows three plans, each with a 7-day free trial. The page opens on monthly billing: Discover is $29 a month, Grow is $49 and Enterprise is $200. Switch the selector to Yearly and the page shows $23, $36 and $167 a month.

Discover includes 1 X account, the viral tweet library, custom tweet inspirations, tweet and thread scheduling, evergreen tweets, 3,000 Auto-DMs a month, auto-plug and auto-retweet, and complete X analytics. Grow adds 5 X accounts, 7,500 Auto-DMs, a paid partnership label on posts, the AI writer and X CRM. Enterprise adds unlimited X accounts, 15,000 Auto-DMs, ghostwriting mode, priority support and the custom trained AI.

A worked example: on the Yearly selector Grow is $36 a month, which is $432 a year for five X accounts and the AI writer. Confirm the final number on the signup screen.

For one X account on the Yearly selector, Discover is $23 a month, or $276 a year, with the viral tweet library, scheduling and complete X analytics included.

Scheduling, X focus and limits

Tweet Hunter is built around X accounts: its pricing page describes the product for X, and the home page and blog talk about growing an audience there. A Threads post written in Threadgehog goes to Threads through Buffer, Typefully, Publer, Metricool or Postiz, and the X version can be pasted into Tweet Hunter's queue.

For X, scheduling covers tweets and threads weeks ahead, with a queue and evergreen tweets. The limits on the pricing page are account counts (1, 5 or unlimited X accounts) and Auto-DM volume per month, so Discover means one X account and 3,000 Auto-DMs a month. X sets its own post length: see the X character limit.

Automation and engagement tools

Most of Tweet Hunter's weight sits in automation. Auto-DM sends a direct message to people who interact with a tweet. Its home page gives the example of a freebie tweet: you write a tweet, ask people to engage to get the freebie, and the DM delivers the link. The monthly allowance rises from 3,000 on Discover to 7,500 on Grow and 15,000 on Enterprise.

Auto-plug, auto-retweet and evergreen tweets are listed on every plan. The pricing page also says it helps you engage with other people 5x faster, and on Grow an X CRM lets you create lists of accounts, import from earlier tweet and DM interactions, and engage with tweets from a chosen list.

A weekly routine from the page's own method: spend about 30 minutes finding inspiration and adding your twist, queue the posts, then turn on Auto-DM for any post that gives something away. Check the X analytics the next week to see which hooks held up, and write the next batch from those.

The automations run on your X accounts and the plan limits count X accounts, so pick the plan by how many X accounts you manage.

Tweet Hunter AI features

The AI writer is part of Grow. The pricing page lists daily AI-written tweets, rewrite tweets, finish writing a tweet, and thread ideas and hooks. Enterprise adds a custom trained AI, smart AI reply generation and unlimited AI use.

The AI works alongside the library. You can search the library by keyword or handle, and the home page says staff-picked tweets come from ghostwriters across 10+ niches. The pricing page says over 12M viral tweets, and the idea is to start from posts that already worked.

The home page describes the working method: find inspiration from tweets that already performed, add your own twist or have the AI give it another spin, then schedule. It says that routine can produce a month of tweets in about 30 minutes.

Using Tweet Hunter together with Threadgehog

Threadgehog is a Mac app that writes Threads and X posts in a voice learned from about ten example posts, and keeps them in a review queue for approval. It sends approved posts to Buffer, Typefully, Publer, Metricool and Postiz. For Tweet Hunter, Export only mode gives you the finished posts to paste into its queue for the X side. Threadgehog is on a waitlist now.

The Threads half goes through one of the five supported schedulers, for example Typefully or Buffer. See pricing: plans start at $29 a month with a 14-day free trial when it opens.

Where Threadgehog fits: if you value Tweet Hunter's tweet library and Auto-DMs, keep using them. Threadgehog fills the review queue with drafts in your own voice. Tweet Hunter alternatives covers other options.
