The short version
Threadify and Threadgehog both write Threads posts in your voice, and they spend the rest of their effort in different places. Threadify points the writing at leads: its home page calls it a lead generation agent that drafts from your Brain, publishes to Threads and X, mines comments for buying signal and queues follow-ups.
Threadgehog points the writing at consistency. It produces a daily batch of Threads and X posts, holds them in a review queue and hands the approved ones to the scheduler you already use. If the goal for the quarter is conversations with likely buyers, read the Threadify section below closely. If the goal is to show up every day with posts that sound like you, Threadgehog is built for that.
How each one learns your voice
Threadify asks you to fill a Brain. Per its pricing page, you feed it documents, transcripts, brand guidelines and past hits, and the agent drafts posts, threads and replies from that material. The Brain holds 800 facts on Creator, 4,000 on Founder and 12,000 on Operator (checked October 2026).
Threadgehog starts smaller. You paste 10 to 20 posts that did well, your own or from your niche, and it builds six voice notes: sentence length, how posts open, how they close, words to leave out, topics and tone. It uses all six every time it writes. Your recent approvals become live voice examples for new drafts, and Learn now rewrites the rules from what you approved and rejected. The longer walk-through is in how to make AI write in your voice.
A Brain suits someone with a lot of source material, such as a course, a podcast archive or a product doc set. Example posts suit someone who wants the style of posts that already worked and has little else written down.
Approval and follow-up
Both products put you between the draft and the post. Threadify's FAQ says nothing is sent until you say yes, and that every draft, schedule, repost and reply is recorded with an audit trail it calls receipts. Its follow-up flow drafts an opener for people who show buying signal in your comments, and you approve, edit or skip it.
Threadgehog's gate is the Pending list. You press A to approve and R to reject, edit the drafts that are close, and approved posts line up in the Queue. Optional auto-approve turns on once Threadgehog agrees with your choices often enough, and then sends new drafts straight to the Queue; it is recommended off for your first 30 days, while it learns from your yeses and nos. You choose how often a post promotes your product or link with the Posts that include your link setting, from 0 to 100% in steps of 5.
Platforms, scheduling and where each runs
Threadify's pricing page lists Threads on every plan, LinkedIn alongside it, and X cross-posting on Founder and above, marked Beta. YouTube appears in its platform line as well. It publishes and schedules inside the product, and scheduled posts are unlimited on all three plans. It runs on the web, as native iPhone, iPad, Mac and Android apps, and as a Chrome extension for saving Threads posts and YouTube transcripts.
Threadgehog writes for Threads and X and keeps each project's drafts and queue split between the two. When you approve a Threads post, it writes the X version on its own, tighter, under 280 characters when the idea fits, with no hashtags. Publishing goes through Buffer, Typefully, Publer, Metricool or Postiz, on a schedule of once a day, twice a day, every 6 hours or every hour while the app is open. Buffer, Typefully and Postiz post multi-post threads as threads. See the Buffer integration and the Typefully integration.
Threadgehog is a Mac app for Apple silicon with macOS 14 or later. It is in waitlist mode, so you join the waitlist and the 14-day trial starts when it opens.
Pricing as of October 2026
Threadify lists Creator at $19 a month ($190 a year), Founder at $99 a month ($990 a year) and Operator at $199 a month ($1,990 a year), plus a custom Enterprise plan. Credits are one pool for writing, replies and edits: 300, 2,000 and 5,000 a month. Scheduling a post you wrote yourself never costs a credit, and posting to X uses credits. New accounts get a 7-day trial on Creator with a card required and $0 due today.
Threadgehog lists Solo at $29 a month ($249 a year) with 2 projects, 300 AI drafts and 30 images a month; Pro at $49 ($399 a year) with 10 projects, 750 drafts and 75 images; and Unlimited at $79 ($649 a year) with 1,500 drafts and 150 images. Lifetime Unlimited is $1,199 once. Every plan has every feature. The 14-day trial includes 50 AI drafts and starts when the app opens. Full details are on the pricing page.
The two entry prices sit $10 apart, and the plans spend that money on different things: Threadify's tiers scale credits, accounts and lead tools, while Threadgehog's tiers scale projects, drafts and images.
Where Threadify is a good fit
Threadify fits a creator or founder whose posts exist to bring in leads. Its link attribution view tracks clicks and conversions per post, its comment mining flags people who show buying intent, and the follow-up queue turns those people into conversations you can approve one by one. Creator includes 30 tracked links a month and Founder adds campaign automation such as Auto Plug and Auto Repost.
It also fits people who work from a phone. The iPhone, iPad and Android apps let you review and post away from a desk, and the Chrome extension saves Threads posts and YouTube transcripts into your Brain. Agencies and operators get up to 20 brands on Operator, CSV and bulk export, and API keys and webhooks.
If your week looks like that, Threadify is built for it. Some people run Threadify for lead follow-up and use Threadgehog for the steady stream of everyday posts.
