The short version

SuperX calls itself an X growth platform. Its home page lists four jobs: discover what is going viral, create and schedule posts, run automations such as auto retweet, auto plug and auto DM, and engage with the right conversations. Threadgehog has one job: write the batch of Threads and X posts, hold it for your approval and hand it to your scheduler.

A person who lives on X and wants research, scheduling, replies and analytics in one place has a clear reason to look at SuperX. A person who wants Threads covered, and drafts waiting each morning in their own voice, has a clear reason to look at Threadgehog.

How each one writes posts

On SuperX, writing help sits inside a larger toolkit. The Pro plan includes 750 AI credits a month. The AI Post and Thread Writer arrives with Advanced, along with 1,500 credits and advanced models, per the pricing page (checked October 2026). The home page describes a wall of content ideas written in your voice, a rewrite tool that keeps your tone, and a library of 10M+ viral posts on Advanced to learn from.

Threadgehog writes from a saved voice. You paste 10 to 20 posts that did well, and it builds six voice notes covering sentence length, openers, closers, words to leave out, topics and tone. It writes a batch of 10, 20, 30 or 50 drafts at a time, or up to 500 a day while the app is open. Every approval and rejection feeds Learn now, and your recent approvals become live voice examples for new drafts. The method is covered in how to make AI write in your voice.

Platforms, scheduling and automation

SuperX is built around X. Its Pro plan lists cross-posting to Bluesky, 5 connected X accounts and 500 scheduled posts a month, with Ultra at 10 accounts and 3,000 posts. The automation set includes auto retweet, auto plug for a link after a post passes an engagement threshold, auto DM, and auto delete for low performers. X Articles can be published on paid plans and need X Premium on the connected account.

Threadgehog writes for Threads and X and sends approved posts to Buffer, Typefully, Publer, Metricool or Postiz on a schedule you pick. You choose how often a post promotes your product or link with the Posts that include your link setting, from 0 to 100% in steps of 5. The Buffer integration and Postiz integration pages walk through connecting either one.

Pricing as of October 2026

SuperX lists Pro at $49 a month, Advanced at a $49 launch price that is normally $99 a month, and Ultra at $199 a month. Pro covers 5 X accounts, 500 scheduled posts, 750 AI credits, 1,000 auto DMs and API, CLI and MCP access. Advanced adds the AI writer, 1,500 credits, an engagement tool with 750 replies a month and the viral library. Ultra raises accounts to 10, posts to 3,000 and credits to 4,000. Each plan has a free trial, and refunds are handled case by case within 7 days of purchase.

Threadgehog lists Solo at $29 a month with 300 drafts and 30 images, Pro at $49 with 750 drafts and 75 images, and Unlimited at $79 with 1,500 drafts and 150 images, or $1,199 once for lifetime Unlimited. Every plan has every feature. See the pricing page. The 14-day trial includes 50 AI drafts and starts when the app opens.

A week with each

A week on SuperX usually starts with discovery. You open the viral library or the daily inspiration feed, pick formats that fit your niche, have the writer produce posts in your style and set them to publish at the times the scheduler picks from your audience activity. Replies run through the Engage feed, and the analytics view shows which posts earned the most.

A week with Threadgehog starts with a Pending list. The batch was written from your voice notes while you were away. You approve what is good, edit the near misses and leave. Approved posts go out through your scheduler on a rhythm you set, once a day, twice a day, every 6 hours or every hour while the app is open. Next week's batch starts from the rules Learn now wrote from your choices.

The first week looks research-heavy on SuperX and review-heavy on Threadgehog. Which one matches your habits is a question about where you want to spend your 30 minutes.

Using them together

Threadgehog sends approved posts to Buffer, Typefully, Publer, Metricool and Postiz, and its Export only mode gives you the finished posts to paste into SuperX's composer. One workable split: use SuperX for research, replies and the X-only automations it offers, and use Threadgehog for the steady daily batch across Threads and X.

For founders who post about their product, the SaaS founders page shows how the batch and the promo ratio are usually set.

Where SuperX is a good fit

SuperX is a good fit for someone whose growth runs on X. The Chrome extension shows performance insights on any profile or post without leaving the feed, the viral library surfaces proven formats in your niche, and the Engage feed lists posts worth replying to. Analytics cover what worked and why, and a unified mentions hub keeps replies in one place.

It also suits people who like to script their own workflow. The developers page describes one REST API, a CLI and an agent skill included in every plan, and gives examples for queuing posts from a cron job or from Claude Code. Higher plans add more accounts, so agencies and multi-account operators have room to grow.

If you want one platform for X research, writing, scheduling and engagement, SuperX covers that set.
