Steps
- 1
Connect your accounts
Sign up for the 7-day trial, then connect Threads and X from the dashboard with OAuth. Each connected profile counts as one social account against your plan.
- 2
Write the post
Open the composer and write, or press Write with AI to draft a caption. Quick actions such as Rewrite and Shorten rework a draft you already have.
- 3
Set text per platform
Use Customise per platform to keep different text for Threads and for X from the same post, since Threads allows 500 characters and X allows 280.
- 4
Schedule or queue it
Pick a date and time, or drop the post into your posting queue so it takes the next open slot you set.
- 5
Check the calendar
Open the content calendar to see everything planned across accounts, and drag a post to a new day if the plan changes.
What PostEverywhere is
PostEverywhere describes itself as an agentic social media scheduler that works with AI agents. It publishes to 12 platforms: Instagram, Facebook, X, LinkedIn, TikTok, Threads, Bluesky, Telegram, Discord, YouTube, Pinterest and WordPress. The product pages show a content calendar, a posting queue, bulk scheduling from CSV, team workspaces, approvals and an analytics dashboard.
It is built for creators, small brands and agencies that run several accounts from one place. Plans count social accounts rather than seats, and workspaces keep brands or clients apart, each with its own accounts, calendar and team permissions.
Pricing and plans as of October 2026
PostEverywhere lists four plans. Lite is $9 a month for 2 social accounts and 10 AI credits. Starter is $19 a month for 5 accounts and 25 credits. Growth is $29 a month for 10 accounts and 100 credits. Scale is $39 a month for 20 accounts, 500 credits, 5 team members and 5 workspaces. Yearly billing gets 2 months free.
Every plan includes unlimited scheduled posts, all supported platforms, the calendar, bulk scheduling, cross-posting, AI Studio, the REST API, the hosted MCP server, the CLI and webhooks. Higher plans raise the account, credit, team and storage limits. Add-ons include a team member for $5 a month, a workspace for $2 a month and 100 extra AI credits for $5 a month. Credit packs of 100, 500 or 2,000 cost $5, $20 or $60 and never expire.
Every plan starts with a 7-day free trial that needs a card, and PostEverywhere offers a full refund in the first 7 days of a paid subscription.
Threads and X support, scheduling and limits
For Threads, PostEverywhere's API guide lists text posts, image posts and single-video posts. A Threads post is limited to 500 characters. You can set who can reply (everyone, accounts you follow, or accounts mentioned in the post) and add a first comment that posts as the first reply. Images can be JPEG, PNG, WebP or HEIC up to 20 MB, and video can be MP4 up to 1 GB and 5 minutes. Edits to a live Threads post are made in the Threads app. For platform limits straight from Meta, see the Threads character limit.
For X, the guide lists text posts up to 280 characters, posts with up to 4 images, a single video, and multi-post threads. Reply settings, alt text for images and an auto first comment are supported, and X Articles need X Premium on the connected account. See the X character limit for the platform side.
Scheduling happens in the composer, the queue and the calendar. The bulk uploader takes a CSV with up to 200 posts, with up to 10 uploads a day, and the pricing page lists suggested posting times as ready-made weekly schedules you can adjust.
AI features
AI Studio writes posts, threads (3 to 10 posts that lead into each other) and polls, and also generates images and 5 or 10 second videos. When you pick a platform in the For field, it sets the character limit and ratio. The composer has Write with AI and Improve caption with AI, with quick actions such as Rewrite, Shorten, Hashtags, Professional and Casual.
AI use is metered in credits: 10 a month on Lite, 25 on Starter, 100 on Growth and 500 on Scale. A generation that fails costs nothing. AI video generation is available with top-ups on Lite and included from Starter up.
Through the MCP server, an assistant such as Claude or ChatGPT can plan and schedule posts for you on every plan.
How to post to Threads and X with it
The steps above cover the web flow: connect, write, adjust per platform, schedule and review. If you prefer to work from an assistant, the site walks through adding the connector to Claude and then asking it to plan and schedule next week's posts.
Keep each platform's limits in mind when you write once for both. A 500 character Threads post must be trimmed for X, and AI Studio shows a counter against each platform's limit for that reason.
Picking a plan for Threads and X
Since every plan has unlimited scheduled posts and the same features, the choice comes down to how many profiles you connect and how much AI you use. One Threads profile and one X profile fit on Lite, with 2 accounts. A second brand with its own Threads and X profiles takes the count to 4, which fits Starter's 5. Growth covers 10 accounts and Scale covers 20 with 5 workspaces.
AI credits are the other limit. Lite's 10 credits suit light use, while a daily AI Studio habit is closer to Growth's 100. Its pricing page says each generation uses one or more credits depending on type, and credit packs never expire.
Using it together with Threadgehog
Threadgehog writes Threads and X posts in a voice learned from about ten of your example posts and learns from what you approve and reject. Threadgehog sends approved posts to Buffer, Typefully, Publer, Metricool and Postiz. For PostEverywhere, pick Export only in Threadgehog's publishing setup: it needs no scheduler account and gives you the finished posts to paste into the PostEverywhere composer and schedule there.
A simple split: Threadgehog produces the text for Threads and X, and PostEverywhere handles scheduling plus other networks such as Instagram or LinkedIn.
