Steps
- 1
Start the 7-day trial
Pick a plan on the AdaptlyPost pricing page and start the trial. Creator is enough for one person posting to Threads and X.
- 2
Connect Threads
Link your Threads account with Meta OAuth. Threads accounts sit behind Instagram, so the Instagram login is the one you use.
- 3
Connect X
Link your X account with OAuth from the same screen. Its X page says passwords are not stored.
- 4
Write the post
Compose the text. Keep Threads posts under 500 characters and X posts under 280. The AI caption copilot can rewrite one draft for each platform.
- 5
Pick a time or a slot
Choose a publish time on the calendar, or drop the post in the queue. Drafts, scheduled and published posts show in one view.
- 6
Check the results
After publishing, look at the analytics dashboard for views, likes, shares and engagement on each connected account.
What AdaptlyPost is and who uses it
AdaptlyPost is a scheduling and publishing tool for social accounts. Its home page says it plans, schedules and publishes to 13 supported platforms from one dashboard, and Threads and X are both on the list. The product is aimed at creators, small businesses and agencies who want one calendar for many channels instead of a separate tool for each.
The footer names Taras Shynkarenko as the person operating AdaptlyPost, based in Gdansk, Poland. Customer quotes on the home page describe a small team that adds features on request, and the site lists an API, MCP, a CLI and browser extensions for people who run their posting from scripts or an AI agent.
AdaptlyPost pricing as of October 2026
The pricing page shows four tiers and says all plans include a 7-day free trial. A Monthly and Yearly switch sits above the cards with a 17% badge on the yearly side. The figures below are the monthly prices on the pricing page.
All paid tiers include unlimited scheduled posts, AI captions, the AI image studio, API, MCP and CLI access, image, video and carousel posts, a direct connector and plugin, and browser extensions. What changes between tiers is the number of accounts, workspaces, team members and AI credits.
- Creator: $19 a month, 30 connected accounts, 1 workspace, 1 team member, 150 AI credits a month
- Pro: $39 a month, 60 connected accounts, 3 workspaces, 3 team members, 400 AI credits a month
- Enterprise: $89 a month, 100 connected accounts, 10 workspaces, 10 team members, 1,000 AI credits a month
- Custom: contact sales for unlimited accounts, workspaces, team members and AI credits
A worked example: one person, Threads and X
Take one founder posting daily to Threads and X. That is two connected accounts, well inside the 30 on Creator, so the $19 plan covers it with room for other channels. Posts are unlimited, so a daily cadence or three posts a day costs the same $19. The number to watch is AI credits: 150 a month is the cap on captions and images generated inside the tool.
A team of three that manages several brands would look at Pro instead, because it adds workspaces (3) and team members (3). An agency with ten clients would look at Enterprise, which lists 10 workspaces and 10 team members. These plan limits come from the pricing page as of October 2026.
Threads and X support, scheduling and limits
For Threads, AdaptlyPost has a dedicated page. It says you connect through Meta OAuth, write the post, pick a time, and the post publishes on schedule with engagement numbers flowing into the same dashboard. The page lists four post types: text posts up to 500 characters, image posts, multi-image carousels and link posts. It also notes that a Threads account is tied to an Instagram account, so you need Instagram to use the connection.
For X, its Twitter/X scheduler page lists posts up to 280 characters and up to 4 images per post. Both pages describe a visual calendar that shows every draft, scheduled and published post by day, plus bulk scheduling for queuing many posts at once and timezone-aware publishing.
For current platform limits from the platforms themselves, see Threads character limit and X character limit. Limits change, so check them again before you rely on a number.
AI features and credits
AdaptlyPost bundles an AI caption copilot and an AI image studio. Its home page says the copilot writes captions, rewrites them for each platform and adds hashtags from a single prompt. The image studio generates pictures from a text description.
AI use is metered in credits: 150 a month on Creator, 400 on Pro and 1,000 on Enterprise. The pricing page has a table headed What AI Credits Get You that shows how many credits each AI action uses. Credits cap the AI captions and images only: scheduling stays unlimited on every plan, so a heavy posting month costs nothing extra if you write the posts yourself.
The AI here helps with captions and images for posts you start. It is a writing helper inside a scheduler, which is a different job from producing a daily batch of posts in your own voice.
Using AdaptlyPost with Threadgehog
Threadgehog is a Mac app that writes posts and multi-post threads for Threads and X in a style it learns from about ten example posts. Drafts wait in a review queue, you approve or reject them, and when you approve a Threads post it writes the X version on its own. Approved posts then go to the scheduler you already use: Buffer, Typefully, Publer, Metricool or Postiz. The site is in waitlist mode today, so you can join the waitlist and get the 14-day free trial when it opens. Solo is $29 a month. See the pricing page for the full plan list.
Threadgehog sends approved posts to Buffer, Typefully, Publer, Metricool and Postiz. Its Export only mode gives you the finished posts to paste into AdaptlyPost's composer. Approve a draft in Threadgehog, paste it into AdaptlyPost, and let AdaptlyPost run the calendar, the 13-platform publishing and the analytics. Each batch holds 10, 20, 30 or 50 posts, and if you promote a product the Posts that include your link setting runs from 0 to 100% in steps of 5.
