For Threads, write up to 500 characters per post, or build a chain with auto numbering. For X, keep each post within 280 characters unless the account has Premium.

What Viraly is and who uses it
Viraly (the domain is viraly.io) is a social media scheduling and analytics platform. Its home page lists 11 platforms, among them X (Twitter) and Threads next to Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, Bluesky, Mastodon and WordPress.
It also includes a link in bio builder, a content recycler, an idea board with RSS feeds, a URL shortener, team approvals and competitor tracking on higher plans. The audience ranges from solo creators on the free plan to agencies and white-label users on Enterprise.

Threads and X support, scheduling and limits
Viraly runs a Threads scheduler page and a Threads analytics page. The scheduler page says posts are limited to 500 characters, thread chains are supported with auto numbering, and each post in a chain can carry its own media. It lists single images (JPEG or PNG, up to 8 MB), videos from 1 second to 5 minutes (MP4 or MOV, up to 1 GB) and carousels of 2 to 20 media items. It says you can schedule Threads posts up to 18 months ahead.
The X scheduler page covers tweets, threads and media posts. It lists 280 characters, 25,000 for Premium accounts, up to 4 photos or 1 video of up to 140 seconds per post, and a thread scheduler.

A worked example: where each plan lands
A creator posting three times a day to Threads and X sends about 90 posts a month, or 180 if every post goes to both. The post cap counts against the plan: Influencer lists 200 posts a month, so a daily cadence on two platforms fits, with 20 posts to spare. Counting each platform separately, the 180 figure is the one to compare with that 200 cap; Business at 500 a month leaves room for several profiles.
The free plan covers 3 profiles, enough to connect Threads, X and one more, and gives 2 weeks of analytics. Anyone who wants to compare month against month needs a paid plan, because Influencer stores 6 months of analytics data and Business stores 12. AI features
Viraly's home page describes an AI caption generator, AI image generation and an AI idea generator. The caption copy says the AI learns your brand voice and style. The idea generator suggests content for your niche and feeds the idea board.
The MCP server is the other AI piece. Viraly says it has 32+ tools so an assistant such as Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor can schedule, edit, publish and report, and that it is included on every plan, free plan too. The pricing page lists the AI idea generator on its comparison table.
Using Viraly with Threadgehog
Threadgehog is a Mac app that writes posts and multi-post threads for Threads and X in a style it learns from about ten example posts. Drafts wait in a review queue, you approve or reject them, and when you approve a Threads post it writes the X version on its own. Approved posts then go to the scheduler you already use: Buffer, Typefully, Publer, Metricool or Postiz.
