Steps
- 1
Choose a plan and add your OpenRouter key
Pick Launch, Pro or Business. Every plan needs your own OpenRouter key, which you add in the app so you control which model writes.
- 2
Follow your sources
Add the newsletters, websites and YouTube channels you want to react to, and fill in your Brand Profile with your audience, positioning and writing persona.
- 3
Start from an insight or topic
Open an insight, story or topic in the feed and create a draft in the content creator. Edit the words and add an image.
- 4
Adapt for X and Threads
With the Larkpulse add-on, select X and Threads, run Magic Adapt, turn the versions into threads if you want, and review each one.
- 5
Post, schedule or queue
Post now, schedule, queue into a content category, or save a draft. Add up to five first comments, using one for a source citation if you like.
What Giststack is and who uses it
Giststack describes its job as turning the sources you trust into thought leadership worth sharing. You follow newsletters, websites and YouTube channels, read AI summaries, and pick insights, stories or topics to write from. Its use-case pages name founders, consultants, fractional leaders, creators and marketing agencies.
The writing starts from material you follow rather than a blank page, which suits people who want their posts to react to what is already being said in their field. Sources can be newsletters, websites with RSS feeds, and YouTube channels with transcripts. A Brand Profile holds your audience, positioning, themes and writing persona, and a knowledge base can turn your own reports and notes into source material.
Pricing and plans as of October 2026
Giststack lists a limited-time lifetime deal with three one-time prices. Launch is $85 and covers 20 followed publications, 800 posts processed a month, 6-month post retention and one workspace. Pro is $120 with 50 publications, 2,000 posts a month, 12-month retention, 3 workspaces and publishing through webhooks. Business is $197 with 100 publications, 4,500 posts a month, 10 workspaces, webhooks and 500 MCP calls a month.
Every plan includes unlimited AI content creation and requires your own OpenRouter key, so the model costs go to OpenRouter and not to Giststack. A 30-day refund policy applies to every plan. Publishing to social networks runs through the separate Larkpulse add-on or a linked Larkpulse account, which the pricing page presents beside the plans.
Threads and X support, scheduling and limits
Direct publishing runs through the separate Larkpulse add-on, or a linked Larkpulse account. With it, you can publish from Giststack to LinkedIn, X, Facebook, Instagram and Threads: post now, schedule, queue into a content category, or save a draft. You map each Giststack workspace to a Larkpulse workspace so each brand reaches the right accounts.
Magic Adapt works when you select two or more channels. It adjusts a piece to each channel's length and tone, and for X and Threads you can turn the versions into threads. Review each version before it goes out. After publishing you see a link or an error per channel.
You can add up to five follow-up comments, written by you or generated for review. A source citation can take the first slot, which leaves up to four for extra context. A thread needs an X or Threads destination. For platform limits from the platforms themselves, see the Threads character limit and the X character limit.
AI features
The AI work sits in the content creator: it drafts posts, threads, newsletters and video scripts from sources, insights, topics or documents, and you edit the words and create a matching image in the same flow. Topics suggest post ideas from clusters of related coverage beside the editor.
Models come from your own OpenRouter key, so you choose which model writes, and the cost of each generation goes to OpenRouter under your own account. Giststack lists AI content creation as unlimited on every plan. Business plans add MCP access so assistants such as Claude or ChatGPT can research your sources and plan content, within 500 calls a month.
How to use it for Threads and X posts
The five steps above take a draft from a source to a published post. Plan limits matter here: Launch follows 20 publications and processes 800 posts a month, so a narrow set of sources fits best, while Pro and Business raise those numbers to 50 and 100 publications. The add-on is only needed for the last two steps. The research and drafting steps work on every plan. Launch's 800 posts processed a month works out to about 26 a day across up to 20 publications.
Without the add-on you can copy your draft, or use webhooks on Pro and above to hand it to an automation tool such as Zapier, Make or Pabbly Connect.
Workspaces, webhooks and MCP
Pro and Business plans add workspaces: 3 on Pro and 10 on Business. Each keeps its own sources, brand profile and drafts, which suits someone running several brands. Team seats are sold separately, per the features page, and the pricing page lists the workspace counts for each plan side by side.
Webhooks, on Pro and above, send a draft to an automation tool such as Zapier, Make or Pabbly Connect, which then routes it into a workflow you configure. That is the route for sending a draft to a scheduler or network of your choice.
MCP is on Business plans, with 500 calls a month, and lets an assistant research your followed sources and plan content.
Using it together with Threadgehog
Giststack and Threadgehog start from different inputs. Giststack builds drafts from publications you follow. Threadgehog writes Threads and X posts in a voice learned from about ten of your example posts, and learns from what you approve and reject.
Threadgehog sends approved posts to Buffer, Typefully, Publer, Metricool and Postiz. For Giststack, Threadgehog's Export only mode gives you the finished posts to paste into Giststack's editor, where Magic Adapt and first comments are available. Many people would keep the research-led pieces in Giststack and the daily promotional batch in Threadgehog. See the Threadgehog approve and learn loop and the best AI tools for Threads. Threadgehog is on a waitlist now; join on the download page. Threadgehog writes 1 to 500 drafts a day while the app is open, with a batch size setting of 10, 20, 30 or 50, and lets you set how many include your link with the "Posts that include your link" setting.
