Launch day is too late to start finding backers.
Threadgehog drafts pre-launch posts about your game in your brand voice, and you approve which ones go to your scheduler while you finish the prototype.
14-day free trial. Cancel before day 15 and you won't be charged. Apple silicon Mac, macOS 14 or later.
Who it is for
A tabletop game designer getting a Kickstarter or Indiegogo campaign ready, in the weeks before launch and while it is live.
How Threadgehog helps
Say once what the game is, who it is for and what people should do on your campaign page, and Threadgehog drafts posts in your brand voice from that. Add a playtest note or a component update in Settings under Inspiration, and the next batch includes a draft written from it. Set the link share to 25% so about 1 in 4 posts point people to the campaign, and raise it in Project settings once the campaign is live. Approved posts go to Buffer, Typefully, Publer, Metricool or Postiz on the schedule you pick, while the app is open.

Example posts
A regular post
Playtest #41. Four players, one inn, one storm. They lost on the last card and asked to play again right away, which is the only review I trust.
A thread that links to it
Two years, 63 playtests, and one coffee stain that is now the official art reference for the inn's front door.
Lamplighter's Rest is a co-op card game about keeping a seaside inn open through one stormy night. The storm deck took 18 months. Early versions were either over in ten minutes or never scary at all.
We launch on Kickstarter next month. Tapping Notify me on the pre-launch page is the biggest thing you can do for us right now: [link]
The X version
Playtest #41. Four players, one inn, one storm. They lost on the last card and asked to play again right away, which is the only review I trust.

Questions
Do I need posts of my own first?
No. A brand-new account works. Paste about ten posts from your niche that got plenty of replies, from any account, and Threadgehog writes in that style. The app shows you how to find them. Once your own posts start doing well, paste those and rebuild the brand voice.
Will every post link to my product?
Only as many as you choose. Set it to 25% and about 1 in 4 posts point people to your product and end with your link. The rest are regular posts in your brand voice, so the feed does not read like ads. The X version keeps the link too, and in a thread the link goes in the last post.
How does publishing work?
Connect the scheduler you already use: Buffer, Typefully, Publer, Metricool or Postiz. Threadgehog sends the posts you approve to it on the schedule you pick: once a day, twice a day, every 6 hours or every hour, while the app is open. Threadgehog picks the time for each post from your posts a day, spread from 9 AM to 9 PM, so nothing needs setting up inside the scheduler, which then publishes them to Threads and X. Buffer, Typefully and Postiz post multi-post threads as threads. Publer and Metricool take single posts, so a short thread is joined into one post and a long one stays in Pending.
