How to find posts that work on Threads

Threadgehog learns your brand voice from posts that did well in your niche, yours or anyone's. Pick 10 to 20. It takes about 30 minutes, and it's the biggest thing you can do for better drafts.

What to look for

  1. On Threads, search a topic your customers care about and open the Top tab.
  2. Browse the Threads communities and topics in your niche.
  3. Look at accounts about your size. Huge accounts get likes for their name, not their writing.
  4. Pick posts with lots of replies for that account. Replies mean people wanted to talk.
  5. Get a mix, about two single posts for every thread. For a thread, paste the link to any post in it and Threadgehog reads the whole thread.
  6. Skip posts that only work because of a photo, a video, a giveaway or breaking news.
  7. Pick posts that sound like something you would say. If you would never post it, leave it out.

Threads Communities are worth a browse too: Meta creates them around a single topic, members' posts gather in one place, and a community in your niche is a shortcut to posts that already found the right crowd. See what Threads Communities are and how to join one.

On Threads, tap the share icon under the post, then Copy link. Paste one link per line. For an X post, paste its text.

Where they go

Setup asks for them on the "Show Threadgehog posts that did well." step. To add more later, open Project settings, then Example posts, then Add example posts. Threadgehog uses up to 20.

Keep them steady once your drafts sound right. Swapping them often makes results inconsistent.

Why your picks matter

Threadgehog studies these posts to learn which styles get people to read and reply. Then it writes about your product in those styles, tries them out, and keeps what works for your audience. It copies the styles you pick, so your taste matters most here.

No time to look?

Setup has a way out: No time? Let Threadgehog research it (not recommended). Threadgehog researches your product and what does well in your niche on Threads, then writes your first drafts from it. They land in Pending like normal, and it learns from what you approve and reject.

Threadgehog setup asking Y U NO HAVE 30 MINS?, with the buttons OK, I'll go add some URLs and Research it for me instead.
Setup tries to talk you out of it first.

It's still AI, so posts you pick work better. If you start with research, add example posts later in Project settings, then Example posts.
